  • Why grounding in electronic devices
  • A. Ground includes signal ground, chassis ground (frame ground), and earth ground.
    In relation to electronic circuits, signal grounding is done to define the reference potential (0V) of circuits and systems, and chassis grounding prevents radiation of noise induced in a metal case or prevents electric shock caused by the case.

Applications

EMI Shielding & PCB Ground

  • Fabric-Over-Foam Gasket is attached to the tuner part, PCB, cable, etc., for grounding with the external case.

Touch Sensor Gasket / Touch Switch Gasket

  • Touch sensor gasket (touch switch gasket) functions as an electrode connecting the display panel and PCB in the electrostatic touch input method. It is mainly suitable for touch switches of home appliances and industrial devices.
  • Hole processing in the center is available, so it could be attached over the LED light to return ON/OFF status when touched.
  • The touch grid method is expensive, but the foam gasket is economical and workable in an adequate number of touch points.
